OMSA launches integrated fare for Corredor 27 de Febrero

The Metropolitan Bus Service Operator (OMSA) has announced the launch of the Corredor 27 de Febrero under a new integrated fare system in Santo Domingo, effective Monday, August 10.

Under this scheme, passengers can utilize a single integrated fare of RD$35.00 to connect the corridor with other mass transit modes in Greater Santo Domingo, including the Metro and Teleférico. To benefit from the 90-minute transfer window without additional charges, users must pay electronically using the Tarjeta Metro, SDGO, or contactless Visa and Mastercard credit/debit cards. While cash payments in exact change are temporarily permitted, these users will not have access to the integrated transfer benefit.

To improve service capacity and efficiency, OMSA is adding more buses to the corridor, including articulated units capable of carrying 160 passengers and rigid units with a 90-passenger capacity.
