Omsky Kauchuk petrochemical plant hit by Ukrainian drone attack

Ukrainian long-range drones struck the Omsky Kauchuk petrochemical plant in Omsk, Siberia, igniting a large-scale fire at the manufacturing complex. The facility, a subsidiary of the Titan Group, is a major producer of synthetic rubber, phenol, acetone, and other industrial chemicals, with an annual production capacity of approximately 500,000 tonnes.

In addition to the chemical plant, the aerial assault damaged an Ozon e-commerce logistics hub and struck a high-voltage electrical transmission tower within the industrial perimeter. The strike occurred approximately 2,500 to 3,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

Separate drone activity was reported in other Russian regions, including strikes on a petrochemical plant in Togliatti and an industrial facility in Perm Krai, where five people were reportedly injured.
