One-Punch Man season 3 part 2 announced for January 2027

The second part of the third season of the anime One-Punch Man is scheduled to premiere in Japan in January 2027. A new trailer and official poster were unveiled during New York Comic Con 2026, showcasing the ongoing conflict between the Hero Association and the Monster Association.

Key characters featured in the new promotional material include Saitama, Garou, Genos, and Tatsumaki (Terrible Tornado). The musical group JAM Project will return to perform the new opening theme, titled ‘Never Done -SUPREME POWER VS ULTIMATE FEAR-’.

Despite the excitement regarding the plot progression, the announcement has reignited discussions among fans and animation professionals concerning visual quality. Since J.C. Staff took over production for the second season, some viewers and critics have expressed concerns that the animation does not fully capture the spectacular nature of the original manga by ONE and Yusuke Murata.
