One-Punch Man anime season 3 release details

Overview

The second part of the third season of the One-Punch Man anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2027. The announcement, which included a new trailer and official poster, was unveiled during New York Comic Con 2026.

Produced by studio J. C. STAFF and directed by Shinpei Nagai, the upcoming episodes will depict the conflict between the Hero Association and the Monster Association, featuring characters such as Saitama, Genos, Tatsumaki, and Garou. The musical group JAM Project will perform the opening theme, titled ‘Never Done -SUPREME POWER VS ULTIMATE FEAR-’.

While the release date has generated interest, the announcement has also prompted discussions among fans and professionals regarding visual quality. Some critics have expressed concerns that the animation produced by J.C. Staff may not fully capture the scale of the original manga.
