Onitsuka Tiger launches its largest global flagship store in Tokyo's Shinjuku district

On July 10, Japanese sneaker brand Onitsuka Tiger opened the world’s largest flagship store in the Shinjuku Takano Building, Tokyo. The four‑floor space covers 1,837 sqm (about 19,800 sq ft) and showcases the brand’s full range of shoes, apparel, bags and accessories.

The store’s exterior features a tiger‑yellow concrete façade designed as a modern monolith, while the interior, created by Milan‑based Studio Dini Cataldi, blends black flooring, yellow marble, black terrazzo and other premium materials. A dedicated entertainment floor, operated by GENDA GiGO, offers an arcade experience, marking the brand’s first in‑store gaming area.

The opening emphasizes Onitsuka Tiger’s heritage and its connection to Japanese craftsmanship, positioning the Tokyo outlet as a flagship experience for customers worldwide.
