Onitsuka Tiger launches its largest global flagship store in Tokyo's Shinjuku district

Onitsuka Tiger opened its biggest worldwide flagship store in Tokyo’s Shinjuku district. The 1,837 sqm, four‑floor venue showcases the brand’s full range—including Heritage, Contemporary (Milan Fashion Week collections) and Formal footwear—and features the company’s first in‑store amusement area and immersive retail experiences. Designed by Milan‑based Studio Dini Cataldi, the store uses a “vertical narrative” concept and a signature Tiger Yellow facade.

The launch follows Asics’ announcement that Onitsuka Tiger will be transferred to a wholly owned subsidiary, OT Group, effective 1 January 2027, to give the fashion label greater operational independence and support its international growth.
