Ontario police report multiple thefts and bail violations
Police in St. Thomas and Cobourg, Ontario, have reported several recent criminal incidents involving theft and bail violations.
In St. Thomas, a 40-year-old man was arrested and charged with property obtained by crime following a theft investigation. Additionally, police reported the theft of $2,000 worth of tools from a vehicle on Talbot Street and the theft of copper piping from a building exterior on the same street. A 31-year-old man was also charged with a bail violation after failing to comply with remote monitoring requirements.
In Cobourg, a 31-year-old man was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and failing to comply with probation after police recovered stolen contractor tools. Separately, a 37-year-old woman was arrested and charged with three counts of failing to comply with probation.
