OPEKA platform to close temporarily for A21 child allowance processing

The OPEKA electronic platform for the A21 child allowance will temporarily close on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 18:00 to facilitate the settlement of upcoming payments.

The fourth installment, covering the July–August period, is scheduled for disbursement on September 30, 2026. Following this, the fifth installment for September–October is expected on November 30, 2026, and the final installment of the year is slated for delivery between December 18 and December 24, 2026.

Allowance amounts are determined by the number of dependent children and the family's income category. For the first two children, monthly amounts range from €28 to €70 per child depending on income. For the third child onwards, the amount doubles. Beneficiaries who submit applications late or are undergoing pending reviews will receive payments retroactively. Applications can be managed through OPEKA, IDIKA, or the Taxisnet platform.
