OP Rajbhar criticizes Akhilesh Yadav over Azam Khan meeting

Uttar Pradesh Minister OP Rajbhar has criticized Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav, labeling his planned meeting with imprisoned leader Azam Khan as an ‘election gimmick’ intended to mislead Muslim voters.

Rajbhar alleged that Yadav only seeks to meet Khan now that elections are approaching, questioning why he did not visit Khan during his long imprisonment. The Minister further claimed that the SP leadership benefited from wealth accumulated during their time in power, while Khan ultimately faced incarceration.

Additionally, Rajbhar attacked Yadav’s stance on religious matters, accusing the SP of honoring individuals who have made offensive comments regarding Sanatan Dharma. He also suggested that the Muslim community is no longer content with being a mere support base for the Yadav community and is increasingly demanding its own representation for the Chief Minister's post.
