OPEKA distributes unallocated social and medical tourism vouchers
OPEKA has announced the distribution of unallocated vouchers for social tourism, medical tourism, organized excursions, and free theater tickets for the 2026 programs. The distribution process began on Monday, September 7, and is conducted through Citizen Service Centers (KEP) on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies are exhausted.
Eligibility is limited to individuals who submitted timely applications for the 2026 programs but were not selected during the initial lottery. Those who were originally selected but failed to collect their vouchers by August 31, 2026, are excluded from this process. For social and medical tourism, as well as excursions, priority is determined by the order of preference stated in the original application. In contrast, for free theater tickets, the original order of preference is not a criterion, and all applicants are eligible.
To claim social or medical tourism vouchers, applicants must first contact a participating accommodation provider to make a reservation and obtain confirmation. The accommodation details and stay dates must then be entered into the OPEKA “Room Reservation Entry” application, either personally or via a KEP. After 30 minutes, the applicant must visit a KEP on the same day to collect the vouchers. Failure to complete the collection on the same day results in the loss of the voucher, which returns to the available stock. Vouchers are strictly personal and cannot be transferred to third parties, including family members.
