OPEKA opens €1,000 scholarship applications for Panhellenic Exam graduates

OPEKA has opened the application process for its scholarship program, providing €1,000 financial awards to successful students of the 2026 Panhellenic Examinations. The application window opened on Wednesday, September 16, at 15:00 and will remain open until October 15, 2026, at 23:59.

A total of 2,106 scholarships are available for children who are direct or indirect beneficiaries of LAE/OPEKA. To qualify, applicants must have held student status during the 2025-2026 school year, be unmarried and unemployed, and be enrolling for the first time in a public Higher Education Institution (HEI) in Greece via the Panhellenic Exams or an equivalent process recognized by the Ministry of Education.

Applications must be submitted electronically through the dedicated OPEKA platform. Generally, the parent who is a direct beneficiary of LAE/OPEKA must submit the application, though certain individuals—such as those receiving orphan or disability pensions—may apply directly. If the number of eligible applicants exceeds the available slots, final recipients will be selected via an electronic draw.
