Opel Corsa GSE electric hot hatch unveiled, to be displayed in Poland
Opel has introduced the Corsa GSE, a fully electric performance version of its long‑standing Corsa line. The model delivers 281 hp (207 kW) and 345 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, with a top speed limited to 180 km/h. It is powered by a 54 kWh gross (51 kWh usable) battery and features a Torsen limited‑slip differential, sport‑tuned suspension, four‑piston Alcon brakes, 18‑inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres, and a V2L charger that can power external devices. Inside, the cabin includes sport seats with Alcantara upholstery, yellow safety belts, aluminium pedals and a dual‑screen digital cluster.
The Corsa GSE was officially presented in May 2026 and will make its first public appearance in Poland at the Energylandia amusement park from 1 to 14 August 2026. The car will be showcased in a dedicated "Corsa Made for Fun" zone, though Opel has not announced test‑drive opportunities as the model is still pending final homologation.
