Opel introduces Frontera Start entry-level trim
Opel has introduced a new entry-level trim for its Frontera compact crossover, named ‘Frontera Start’. This version is designed to lower the barrier to entry for the model in the European market.
In Germany, the Frontera Start is priced starting at 21,990 euros for the gasoline variant equipped with a 1.2-liter, 100-horsepower engine. The trim features 16-inch black wheels, basic LED headlights, a 10-inch instrument panel, air conditioning, and rear parking sensors. To maintain the lower price point, the model utilizes a physical key ignition and replaces the touchscreen with a smartphone holder.
An electric version is also available, starting at approximately 29,340 euros in Germany. In the Czech market, prices for the gasoline model are expected to be competitive, potentially starting slightly above 440,000 CZK, while the electric version may be positioned around 650,000 CZK after local incentives.
