Opel launches new Combo Start entry-level van

Opel has launched the Combo Start, a new entry-level version of its compact van designed to appeal to small businesses, technical crews, and fleet operators. The new model aims to provide high versatility and cost-effectiveness, with prices reduced by approximately €1,000 (or local currency equivalents) compared to previous entry models.

The vehicle is available with multiple powertrain options, including petrol, diesel, and a fully electric version featuring a 42 kWh battery. Standard features include a four-way adjustable driver’s seat, the FlexiSeat front passenger seat—which can be folded to increase cargo space by 0.5 m³—a Connect Box with emergency call functions, and a smartphone station for navigation and infotainment.

Additional practical features include the optional ModuTable, which provides a workspace for laptops or meals, and the FlexCargo configuration. The Combo Start is part of a broader range of simplified commercial vehicles from Stellantis, which includes models from Citroën, Fiat, and Peugeot.
