Opel to launch all‑electric Corsa GSE hot hatch later this year

Opel announced that the fully electric Corsa GSE model will be introduced later this year, with its exhibition debut scheduled for the Paris Motor Show in October. The new Corsa GSE carries on the legacy of the brand's hot‑hatch tradition, tracing its roots back to the 1988 Corsa GSi.

The electric Corsa GSE is rated at 207 kW (281 hp) and 345 Nm of torque, achieving 0–100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, making it the most powerful Corsa to date. WLTP testing shows an energy consumption of 18.5 kWh per 100 km and zero CO₂ emissions, reinforcing Opel's push toward electrified compact cars.
