Opole and Poznań roadworks reopen new viaducts and impose traffic restrictions

In Opole, a new lane of a viaduct at the north‑ring road – Partyzancka Street near the Makro shopping centre – was opened to traffic on 6 July. The temporary traffic scheme allows two‑way flow on the viaduct and changes the access routes to the Sławice district, while city bus lines continue unchanged. The reconstruction, valued at about 66 million złoty, is part of a larger project to improve the DK 94/46 junction and is scheduled for completion by late August or early September.

In Poznań, a series of temporary traffic changes will be in force from 6 July to the end of August (and in some cases to 31 December). Work includes the reconstruction of Piątkowska and Trójpole streets, the closure of Łomnicka Street, new pedestrian‑bike lanes, reduced speed limits to 30 km/h, and manual shuttle traffic. Additional measures affect the Dmowski, Hetmańska, and Warsaw streets, as well as bus stops and a parking zone on Zgoda Street. Drivers are advised to follow the revised routes and comply with local restrictions.
