Opole opens new central parking facility on Ozimska Street

The municipal utility in Opole has completed a new parking lot on Ozimska Street in the city centre. The upgraded surface is designed to be more durable and weather‑resistant, replacing the former uneven area that residents called a “tank track”. The facility will provide about 70 parking spaces, including four reserved for people with disabilities. Pricing announced by the city includes 3 zł per hour, a 27 zł all‑day ticket and a 160 zł monthly pass, with payment accepted by card or cash. Installation of signage and parking meters is still pending, and the lot is expected to open by mid‑August. The project cost is estimated at roughly 150 000 zł.
