OPPO A7 Pro Max launches with 10,000 mAh battery and Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset

OPPO officially unveiled the A7 Pro Max 5G in China, highlighting a 10,000 mAh "Glacier" battery that supports 80 W SuperVOOC wired fast charging, 80 W UFCS, and 27 W reverse charging. The device is the world’s first to use Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, built on a 4 nm process with an octa‑core CPU and Adreno G629 GPU, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The phone features a 6.78‑inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, up to 1,800 nits peak brightness, and a 330 Hz touch‑sampling rate. It is rated IP69K for dust and water resistance and includes a 50 MP primary rear camera with OIS, a 2 MP monochrome sensor, and a 50 MP front camera. Pricing in China starts at 2,199 yuan (≈ $280) for the base 8 GB + 128 GB configuration.

A rebranded version, the OPPO F35 Pro, is expected to reach the Indian market by late August, retaining the 10,000 mAh battery and similar specifications, with a price target of Rs 40,000‑45,000. The launch positions OPPO as a leader in mid‑range endurance smartphones.
