Oppo K15 launches in China with 8,000 mAh battery and active cooling

Oppo officially launched the K15 smartphone in China on July 24, pricing the device at CNY 2,299 (about $330). The model is offered in Gale Grey and Rapid White, with a single configuration of 12 GB RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage.

Key specifications include a 6.59‑inch FHD+ AMOLED display (1.5 K resolution, 120 Hz refresh, 240 Hz touch sampling, up to 1,200 nits brightness) and the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Super octa‑core processor paired with Oppo's Tide Engine. The phone houses an 8,000 mAh battery supported by 80 W fast charging, and an active cooling fan that "can lower the internal temperature by 5 °C in five minutes" according to Oppo data. It is rated IP69 for dust and water resistance.

Imaging is handled by a triple‑camera setup: a 50 MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, a 50 MP ultra‑wide sensor (f/2.2), and a 50 MP front sensor (f/2.0) with autofocus. Additional features include NFC, infrared port, dual SIM, and a metal frame with crystal‑shield glass.
