OPPO launches Reno 16 Pro smartphone with 200MP camera and AI photo tools

Chinese maker OPPO has introduced the Reno 16 Pro, a mid‑range handset aimed at photography enthusiasts. The device features a triple‑lens rear system anchored by a 200‑megapixel main sensor, complemented by 50‑megapixel telephoto and ultra‑wide lenses, and a 50‑megapixel ultra‑wide selfie camera with a 100° field of view.

Additional highlights include AI‑driven editing tools such as Remix Collage, Pop Cam and Holoverse 3D, an IP69‑rated water and dust‑proof design, a 6.3‑inch AMOLED display running at 144 Hz, a 6700 mAh battery with 80 W fast charging (but no wireless charging), 4K video capture at 60 fps, and six years of Android updates. The Reno 16 Pro sits below OPPO’s flagship Find X9 Pro and is part of the newly launched Reno 16 series, targeting users who want high‑quality imaging without a flagship price tag.
