OPPO launches Reno16 smartphone series in Mexico with AI and up to 200 MP camera

OPPO introduced the Reno16 family, comprising the Reno16 Pro, Reno16, Reno16 FS and Reno16 F models. The lineup emphasizes artificial‑intelligence‑driven tools for photo and video creation, such as AI Remix Collage, smart image editing and automatic optimisation. Camera hardware ranges from a 50 MP main sensor on the standard models to a 200 MP sensor on the Pro version, with ultra‑wide and telephoto lenses and 50 MP front cameras for high‑quality selfies and video calls. Battery capacity reaches up to 7,000 mAh with 80 W SUPERVOOC fast‑charging, while the design features a futuristic digital‑inspired aesthetic and an IP69K‑rated, aluminium‑frame build.

The series is now available in Mexico through Telcel’s retail network, with promotional offers at participating stores. A separate review of the standard Reno16 highlighted its 6.32‑inch AMOLED display, 120 Hz refresh rate, and a construction that mirrors the higher‑end Pro model, offering a premium feel at a lower price point.
