OPPO unveils Reno16 Series with 200MP camera and 3D Pop Planet design
OPPO officially launched the Reno16 Series across several markets, introducing three variants – Reno16, Reno16 Pro and Reno16 F/FS. The line features a new 3D Pop Planet design highlighted by a holographic "planet" effect on the back cover, and runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16.
The Reno16 Pro is equipped with a 200 MP main sensor, OIS, a 50 MP telephoto lens with 3.5× optical zoom, and a 6 700 mAh silicon‑carbon battery supporting 80 W fast charging. The standard Reno16 uses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, while the Pro runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super. All models have IP68/IP69 water‑dust protection, AMOLED displays (6.32‑inches on most models, 6.57‑inches on the F/FS) with refresh rates up to 144 Hz, and AI‑driven photography tools such as AI Remix Collage, Pop Cam effects, Dual‑View Video 2.0 and AI Snap Key.
Pricing varies by region: in Italy the Pro launches at €899 (discounted from €1 099) and the base model at €749, while in Indonesia prices range from roughly Rp5.9 million for the entry‑level Reno16 to Rp11.9 million for the Pro. A pop‑up event in Milan showcased the phones alongside a collaboration with K‑pop group BABYMONSTER, allowing visitors to test the creative AI features and receive exclusive content.
