Oppo unveils Reno16 series and Bubble accessory in Malaysia

Oppo launched its latest Reno16 smartphone line in Malaysia, introducing the Reno16 Pro, Reno16, and a budget Reno16 F model. The Pro version features a 6.32‑inch AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8550 processor, 12 GB RAM, 256 GB storage, IP68/IP69K water resistance, a 200 MP main camera with 50 MP telephoto (3.5× optical zoom) and ultra‑wide lenses, and an 80W‑charged 6,700 mAh battery. It is priced at RM 3,699. The standard Reno16 uses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, 8 GB RAM, and a 50 MP main sensor, retailing for RM 2,699, while the entry‑level Reno16 F is offered at RM 1,899. Alongside the phones, Oppo introduced the Oppo Bubble, a 1.73‑inch AMOLED “charm” display that pairs with recent Oppo phones as an animated avatar and viewfinder, selling for RM 349. The devices support advanced camera modes such as 4K 60 fps video, AI‑enhanced night shooting, and POP Cam effects, emphasizing high‑resolution imaging capabilities for mid‑range consumers.
