Opposition alliance announces peaceful long march for September 27

An opposition alliance, led by Mahmood Achakzai of Tehreek Tahafuz-e-Aeen Pakistan, has announced a peaceful and democratic long march scheduled for September 27. The protest aims to address the country's political and economic crises, specifically focusing on inflation, unemployment, fuel prices, and the prevailing law and order situation.

The alliance has decided to convene an All Parties Conference to resolve the national crisis and has formed committees to coordinate with other political parties. During their meeting, leaders also discussed the proposed 28th constitutional amendment and the potential creation of new provinces, arguing that dividing provinces into administrative units would harm national unity and the federal structure. They specifically emphasized maintaining the current geographical and administrative status of Sindh.

Additionally, the alliance demanded direct communication and accurate health updates regarding Imran Khan. They also condemned raids on the homes of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf workers and called for the immediate restoration of border trade.
