Ordu and Kahramanmaraş host regional cultural and food festivals

The 15th Ordu Promotion Days are currently being held at the Istanbul Atatürk Airport Millet Bahçesi Fair and Event Area. The event serves as a platform to showcase the cultural heritage, tourism potential, and gastronomy of Ordu and its districts, such as Ünye, to a wider audience and the local diaspora.

Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler is participating in the event, meeting with citizens to discuss municipal projects and listen to public demands. The festival features traditional music, local delicacies like hazelnuts and Kybele chocolate, and various promotional materials to strengthen the region's brand value.

In a separate regional event, the Onikişubat Municipality in Kahramanmaraş is hosting a Zahire Festival. This festival aims to preserve traditional food storage culture and support women entrepreneurs by showcasing locally produced, geographically indicated goods such as molasses, jams, vinegars, and traditional soups.
