Turkish regional promotion festivals

Various regional promotion festivals have been held in Turkey to showcase local culture, history, and gastronomy.

In İzmir, the Erzurum Promotion Days were organized by the Ege Bölgesi Erzurum Dernekler Birliği Federasyonu to present Erzurum’s heritage to the Aegean region through authentic food stalls and musical performances.

The 15th Ordu Promotion Days are being held at the Istanbul Atatürk Airport Millet Bahçesi Fair and Event Area. Organized by the Ordu Metropolitan Municipality and the Ordu Associations Federation, the event showcases the cultural heritage and tourism potential of Ordu and districts such as Ünye. Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler is participating in the event to meet with citizens and discuss municipal projects. The festival features traditional music and local delicacies, including hazelnuts, Kybele chocolate, Ordu honey, and Yalıköy meatballs.

Additionally, the Onikişubat Municipality in Kahramanmaraş is hosting a Zahire Festival. This event aims to preserve traditional food storage culture and support women entrepreneurs by showcasing locally produced, geographically indicated goods such as molasses, jams, vinegars, and traditional soups.
