Oregon quarterback Dante Moore ruled out for remainder of season
Oregon Ducks head coach Dan Lanning announced Monday that star quarterback Dante Moore is not expected to return to the field for the remainder of the 2026 season. Moore has been sidelined since late September after suffering a concussion during a game against the USC Trojans.
Moore, a senior who returned to college instead of declaring for the NFL draft, had a strong start to the season, recording 926 passing yards and nine touchdowns with no interceptions through his first four games. While he had recently resumed practicing and remained in concussion protocol, the injury will effectively end his college career.
Following the injury to Moore, the Ducks have struggled, falling from a No. 2 national ranking to an unranked 4-3 record. Dylan Raiola has started at quarterback in Moore's absence.
