Oregon woman assaulted by impostor ICE agents on Highway 211
On July 17, three masked men stopped a female immigrant driver on Highway 211 east of Woodburn, Oregon. The men, wearing tactical vests marked “POLICE,” claimed to be ICE agents, forced the woman from her car, searched her and held her in the back of their unlicensed SUV for about 20 minutes, during which she was assaulted. She was released and taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries.
The FBI later confirmed that the abductors were not ICE agents. This incident follows an October 2025 FBI warning that criminals were impersonating ICE agents to commit robberies, kidnappings and assaults, and it was disclosed by Oregon State Police.
