Oreo and KFC launch limited‑edition fried‑chicken flavored cookies in China

Oreo and KFC have teamed up for a limited‑edition snack that replaces the classic sweet cream filling with a seasoning inspired by KFC’s Original Recipe fried chicken. The product is part of Oreo China’s “Playful Time Travel” collection, which also includes a “Retro Popcorn” flavor. The cookies retain the traditional cocoa‑covered wafer shape, but one side of the sandwich bears the KFC logo and the packaging adopts KFC’s red‑and‑white colour scheme.

The collaboration debuted on 31 July 2026 and is sold exclusively in China through local e‑commerce platforms and selected retail outlets. Neither brand has announced plans to bring the fried‑chicken Oreo or the Retro Popcorn variant to other markets such as Mexico, the United States, or Europe, meaning interested consumers abroad would need to rely on importers or international online sellers.
