Orfeo Mazzella Presents 131‑Page Dossier for Torre Annunziata Revitalisation

Senator Orfeo Mazzella of the Movimento 5 Stelle presented a 131‑page dossier covering 25 thematic areas for the city of Torre Annunziata, following the dissolution of its municipal council due to Camorra infiltration. The document proposes measures on security, port development, the heritage site of Oplonti, social inclusion and other sectors, and is described as legally and financially viable.

Mazzella announced that from September a series of at least 15 public meetings will be held, involving citizens, local associations, schools and the extraordinary commission that currently administers the municipality. The aim is to build a shared programmatic platform to guide the city and to prepare for upcoming municipal elections, with a call for candidate lists to be prepared at least three months in advance and to include qualified, conflict‑free individuals. The dossier was drafted with input from the territorial group of the Five Star Movement, led by Ciro Gagliardi, and other local stakeholders.
