Orient Express launches La Dolce Vita luxury train in Italy

Orient Express has introduced ‘La Dolce Vita’, a new luxury train designed to traverse Italy. The train features an interior inspired by 1960s art and Hollywood’s golden age, designed by Milan-based studio Domorestudio. The service includes 12 deluxe cabins, 18 suites, and a restaurant, offering itineraries that range from one to two nights.

Available routes include trips through Tuscany’s vineyards, coastal journeys from Rome to Palermo along the Tyrrhenian Sea, and excursions to UNESCO World Heritage sites like Materna. The company is also positioning itself within the ‘slow travel’ movement and exploring hydrogen energy technologies for future developments.
