Orquesta del Barrio Inta performs at Teatro Colón

The Orquesta del Barrio Inta made history by performing at the Teatro Colón and the Obelisco in Buenos Aires. The ensemble, which represents the Inta neighborhood, underwent months of intensive preparation and training to reach the prestigious stage.

Director Mariana Navarro noted that for many young musicians, this was their first visit to Buenos Aires. She emphasized the importance of maintaining the orchestra's connection to its local roots and expressed the need for a dedicated space within their home neighborhood to continue fostering musical opportunities for local youth. The trip was supported by the Government of Chubut, the Municipality of Trelew, and the Fundación del Banco del Chubut.
