Orthodox Academy of Crete announces 2026–2027 educational programs

The Orthodox Academy of Crete (OAK) has announced its educational programs for the 2026–2027 school year, inviting schools, educators, and students to participate in experiential learning activities.

The curriculum includes several specialized modules:

• A guided tour of the Academy's grounds, highlighting its historical significance and its role as a site for global dialogue, including its connection to the 2016 Holy and Great Council of the Orthodox Church.

• A library visit titled ‘We Have Goals!’, designed for primary school students. This module uses an interactive board game to teach the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and how individual actions contribute to a better world.

• Environmental education focused on protecting the natural world. Students will discuss the climate crisis, agriculture, and food security while exploring the Academy’s ecological areas and cultivation sites.
