Orthodox youth associations announce religious and educational programs
The Association of Orthodox Youth in Vaslui (ATOV) recently completed the “Restart cu Hristos” project, held from July 27–31, 2026. Funded 90% by the Vaslui County Council, the initiative aimed to promote moral teachings and social interaction among young people. The program included masterclasses on success and failure, neuroscience lectures, and an expedition through various religious sites including Bicaz Lake and several monasteries. Participants also visited the Mopan Suceava bakery.
Separately, the Association of Romanian Orthodox Youth in Germany, Austria, and Luxembourg (ATORG) has opened registrations for its annual meeting and conference. Scheduled for October 2–4, 2026, in Cologne, Germany, the event will focus on the theme “The feminine face of faith: Models of holiness and service from Christian antiquity to the 20th century.” The program includes a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at the Romanian Orthodox Parish in Cologne.
