Orthodox youth religious and educational programs

Overview

Orthodox youth associations have launched various religious and educational initiatives. In Vaslui, the Association of Orthodox Youth (ATOV) completed the ‘Restart cu Hristos’ project, which utilized funding from the Vaslui County Council to provide moral teachings, neuroscience lectures, and expeditions to religious sites such as Bicaz Lake and various monasteries.

Additionally, the Association of Romanian Orthodox Youth in Germany, Austria, and Luxembourg (ATORG) has opened registration for an annual meeting and conference in Cologne, Germany. Scheduled for October 2–4, 2026, the event will center on the theme ‘The feminine face of faith: Models of holiness and service from Christian antiquity to the 20th century.’
