Çorum FK signs Uruguayan forward Luciano Rodriguez from Saudi club NEOM

Turkish Süper Lig side Çorum FK has reached an agreement with Saudi Arabian club NEOM for the transfer of 23‑year‑old Uruguayan striker Luciano Rodriguez. The player, who featured in Uruguay’s 2023 U‑20 World Cup‑winning squad and has five senior caps, is expected to join the club after completing a medical exam in Istanbul. Details on whether the move is a loan or a permanent purchase have not been disclosed.

Rodriguez began his career at Progreso in Uruguay before spells at Liverpool Montevideo, Brazil’s Bahia and, most recently, NEOM, which paid roughly €20 million for his rights earlier this season. Çorum FK, promoted to the Süper Lig for the first time, aims to strengthen its attacking options with the South American talent, who is praised for his speed, finishing and ability to create chances for teammates.
