Orvieto Cathedral hosts performance honoring Saint Francis of Assisi

The Orvieto Cathedral hosted a sold-out performance titled ‘Francesco’, a collaborative show between journalist and writer Aldo Cazzullo and musician Angelo Branduardi. The event was part of the celebrations marking the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi.

This performance also marked the 20th anniversary of the International Festival of Art and Faith, organized by the Iubilarte Cultural Association. The show utilized Cazzullo’s book, ‘Francesco. Il primo italiano’, and Branduardi’s album, ‘L’Infinitamente Piccolo’, to explore the life of Saint Francis, highlighting his roles as a preacher, mediator, and poet.
