Orville Peck releases new single “Too Little, Too Late” ahead of September “Mule” album

Country‑masked singer‑songwriter Orville Peck has issued the single “Too Little, Too Late” together with a music video directed by Austin Peters. The track leads up to his fourth studio album “Mule”, scheduled for release on 18 September through Warner Records.

“Too Little, Too Late” follows a spoken‑word intro “Prologue (Eulogy Of A Man Turned Mule)” that features guest vocals from Emmylou Harris, Noah Cyrus and Allison Russell. The song was produced by Jay Joyce and co‑written with Dan Wilson and Steve Rusch. Peck described “Mule” as a chronological snapshot of a year marked by personal struggle and a quest for sobriety.
