Osaka offers free summer homework cafe and Roblox workshop for students

From July 21 to August 21, 2026, Higashi‑Osaka City opened a free "Homework Café" for elementary and junior high students at the city's Multi‑purpose Center. The space provides a quiet area for completing homework or studying, with a capacity of 21 children per day and a complimentary juice after each visit.

Meta Osaka hosted a two‑day Roblox workshop for students on August 6 and August 20 at the eStadium Namba "Hero Egg" venue. The 90‑minute sessions taught participants to create an athletic game using Roblox Studio and compile a summer‑research report, charging 3,000 yen per attendee with a maximum of 10 participants per session.
