Osaka to host OZU WORLD EXPO and Pine Ame Summer Festival in July‑August 2026

On July 20, 2026 the Sea Park in Izumi‑Ōtsu, Osaka Prefecture will host “OZU WORLD EXPO in Sea Park – Connecting the World with Smiles.” Organized by the Izumi‑Ōtsu Youth Chamber of Commerce, the free‑entry day‑long event will feature more than 20 international food, craft and cultural‑experience booths, as well as stage performances such as yosakoi dance. Visitors can join a stamp‑rally to qualify for a prize draw that includes theme‑park tickets and prepaid game cards.

A month later, on August 8, 2026, the Cool Japan Park Osaka TT Hall at Osaka Castle Park will hold the “Pine Ame Summer Festival.” After an online lottery 550 participants will be invited free of charge. The program includes comedy acts by Yoshimura Takashi and other entertainers, sales of Pine‑branded candy, plush toys and themed towels, and pineapple‑inspired activities such as candy‑scooping and mini‑ice‑cream servings.
