Economic Forum in Karpacz addresses AI and geopolitical stability

The XXXV Economic Forum in Karpacz, themed ‘Architecture of a New Order – Stability in Times of Change,’ has gathered approximately 6,000 participants, including political, business, and scientific leaders, to discuss the future of Poland and Europe. Key discussions focus on geopolitical stability, energy transformation, and the integration of artificial intelligence into the economy.

Technological advancement is a central theme. The Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center (PCSS) presented its PIAST-AI factory to accelerate AI absorption in Central and Eastern Europe. Additionally, sessions addressed the role of AI in business processes, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, and the development of Smart City solutions.

Other critical topics include the impact of EU directives on Polish agriculture—specifically the tobacco industry—and the evolving role of higher education in a changing technological landscape. The forum also serves as a platform for local government representatives to address regional economic development and cybersecurity challenges.
