Polish economic and investment summits

The Ogólnopolski Szczyt Gospodarczy (OSG) 2026 is scheduled for November 9 in Warsaw. This annual summit brings together representatives from politics, science, business, and the economy to discuss development and investment strategies.

A central theme of the summit is the investment development program for the Polish economy through 2035, which seeks to increase competitiveness by supporting domestic and foreign companies. The event will also address economic security, including the protection of national industry and strategic sectors against geopolitical influences and internal or external threats.

Specific areas of focus include green energy, innovation in dual-use industries, critical infrastructure protection against cyber conflicts, and the role of local government in business. The summit will also feature the ‘Bursztyn Polskiej Gospodarki’ awards for the energy sector and the ‘Bursztynowe Serce 2026’ awards for philanthropy and corporate social responsibility.

In September 2026, the XXXV Economic Forum in Karpacz, themed ‘Architecture of a New Order – Stability in Times of Change,’ convened approximately 6,000 participants to discuss the future of Poland and Europe. Discussions at the forum centered on geopolitical stability, energy transformation, and the integration of artificial intelligence into the economy. Notably, the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center (PCSS) presented its PIAST-AI factory, aimed at accelerating AI absorption in Central and Eastern Europe. Other topics included the impact of EU directives on the Polish tobacco industry, Smart City solutions, and the role of higher education in a shifting technological landscape.
