Educational programs and scholarships launched in Peru and Mexico
OSIPTEL has launched its 2027 University Extension Program (PEU), offering 60 full scholarships for specialization in telecommunications regulation and public management. The program is open to final-year students, graduates, and non-titled professionals in Law, Economics, and Engineering. Applications are accepted until October 31, 2026, with selection based solely on a virtual merit-based exam. The scholarships cover 100% of academic costs, materials, food, local transport, and accident insurance. Half of the vacancies are reserved for students from universities outside of Lima and Callao to promote regional equity.
In Mexico, the Institute of Specialization in Administrative Justice (IEJA) has commenced its 2026 postgraduate offerings. The first semester includes one doctorate, three master's degrees, and one specialty, with 109 students enrolled. The cohort is 53.2% female and includes participants from eight different Mexican states. Programs include a Doctorate in Mexican Constitutional Law and master's degrees in Administrative Justice, Amparo Proceedings, and Human Rights, primarily delivered online.
