Ibero-American educational scholarship initiatives

Various educational institutions and organizations in Ibero-America have launched scholarship and postgraduate programs.

In September 2026, the Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio (UAX) and the Organismo Internacional de Juventud para Iberoamérica (OIJ) introduced a scholarship initiative for the 2026-2027 academic year. The program provides 50 scholarships offering a 50% cost reduction for 32 online master's degrees across the sectors of Business & Tech, Education, and Health. The distribution targets professionals in OIJ-CDH certified companies and candidates from OIJ member countries, with one full scholarship available based on merit.

By October 2026, new academic opportunities were announced in Peru and Mexico. OSIPTEL launched its 2027 University Extension Program in Peru, providing 60 full scholarships for specialization in telecommunications regulation and public management. In Mexico, the Institute of Specialization in Administrative Justice (IEJA) began its 2026 postgraduate offerings, enrolling 109 students in various doctorate, master's, and specialty programs, including studies in Mexican Constitutional Law and Human Rights.
