Osmangazi Municipality expands infrastructure and sanitation services in Bursa
Osmangazi Municipality has accelerated various investments and services across its 136 neighborhoods in Bursa. Recent developments include the opening of the Eyüp Kutlucan Service Building, the Bayram Kutlucan Family Health Center, and the Emir Özalp Children's Park in the Ovaakça Çeşmebaşı neighborhood. Additionally, a new market area with 62 stalls has been established in the Emek Adnan Menderes neighborhood to improve hygiene and organization for local vendors.
In terms of sanitation, the municipality operates 24/7 cleaning services using approximately 190 teams and 945 personnel. The municipality collects roughly 1,100 tons of waste daily. To optimize operations, cleaning vehicles are equipped with AI-supported cameras to monitor work in real-time. Furthermore, a new policy allows for the free collection of up to 10 bags of renovation waste per household to reduce the financial burden on citizens, while larger quantities remain subject to standard fees.
