Osmangazi Municipality hosts national photography competition

The Osmangazi Municipality has concluded its ‘Conquest and Sports Themed National Photography Competition,’ held to commemorate the 700th anniversary of the conquest of Bursa. Organized in collaboration with the Bursa Cinema and Photography Art Association (BURFOD), the event drew 142 photographers from 30 different provinces across Turkey.

A total of 450 photographs were submitted for evaluation by an expert jury, resulting in 71 award-winning works. The winning photographs are currently being exhibited at the Panorama 1326 Bursa Conquest Museum.

During the award ceremony, Osmangazi Deputy Mayor Mutlu Esendemir expressed satisfaction with the high level of interest from various cities. BURFOD President Serpil Savaş also highlighted the importance of the municipality's support for the photographic arts and the opportunity provided to artists to serve Bursa through their work.
