Osmangazi Municipality opens new market area in Bursa

Osmangazi Municipality has officially opened a new modern market area in the Emek Adnan Menderes neighborhood of Bursa. The facility features 62 vendor stalls designed to provide residents with a hygienic and organized shopping environment.

During the opening ceremony, Osmangazi Mayor Erkan Aydın announced future plans for the site, including the potential construction of a parking lot and a children's park on the upper section of the area. Additionally, the municipality is monitoring the market's usage to determine if a roof should be installed to protect shoppers from extreme weather conditions such as heat, rain, and cold.

In related infrastructure developments, the municipality noted that a 3,000-square-meter covered market area in the Demirtaş Sakarya neighborhood has also been completed and is expected to be operational by the end of the month.
