Osmaniye Peanut Festival concludes with music and gastronomy

The third annual Osmaniye Peanut Festival, held under the theme ‘The Root of Flavor is in This Soil,’ has concluded in Osmaniye, Turkey. The event featured a parade from Akyar Street to the Atatürk Street event area, attended by local officials including Governor Mehmet Fatih Serdengeçti and Mayor İbrahim Çenet.

The festival aimed to promote the region's registered peanut products both domestically and internationally. It hosted culinary demonstrations by chefs from various countries, including Russia, Canada, Palestine, Tunisia, and Azerbaijan, highlighting the gastronomic richness of the Mediterranean. A dessert competition titled ‘My Mother’s Peanut-Like Desserts’ saw Canan Türker take first place.

The festivities ended with a concert by artist Semicenk at the Osmaniye Korkut Ata University Stadium, which drew thousands of attendees, including university students.
