OSP Gostomie celebrates 90th anniversary in Poland

The Volunteer Fire Department (OSP) in Gostomie celebrated its 90th anniversary on August 22, 2026. The event included a formal ceremony involving color guards, delegations, and a brass band.

Following a mass at the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the ceremony moved to an assembly ground. During the proceedings, Commander Mateusz Głodowski reported readiness to Marek Buza, President of the Provincial Board of the Association of Volunteer Fire Departments of the Republic of Poland. The event also featured the official presentation of a new banner and the raising of the national flag.

Local officials, including members of the Sejm, regional fire department commanders, and municipal leaders from Kościerzyna and Stężyca, attended the commemoration.
