In Zbuczyn, the Volunteer Fire Department marked its 110th anniversary, receiving the Bolesław Chomicic medal and unveiling a 110 kg commemorative bell. In the Zgorzelec municipality, volunteer fire departments from Gronów, Radomierzyce, Sławnikowice, and Trójca celebrated 80 years of service during a jubilee in Łagów on 21 August. Additionally, on 23 August, Archbishop Adam Szal presided over a thanksgiving Mass in Gorzyce Przeworskie to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Grave Guard. OSP Miałkówek marked its centenary, though it was forced to relocate its ceremony after a local resident intentionally plowed the original event site. OSP Rękoraj also celebrated 100 years, receiving the Golden Sign of the OSP Union of Poland. OSP Bierna celebrated its 80th anniversary with the presentation of various service medals and a new rescue quad.
